She is Divine Mother Mahakali in her fiery destructive form to destroy all evils and help humanity to evolve. Her invocation are on certain days in hindu calendar. She manifests in her best form on full moon and new moon days. At ambavana mutt, amma invokes her on every new moon (amavasya) to burn sticky issues of her devotees and to heal humanity in general.
